Blackberry Storm Coming Soon

Rumors of the Blackberry Storm coming to storm out iPhone has been in the buzz for awhile. In this new video available online (looks like on the CBS channel), the Blackberry Storm looks to be gearing up for exactly that.

You just can’t keep a secret in the tech industry these days. Early pictures of T-Mobile’s Google phone leaked onto the Web the week before its Sept. 23 launch, and now images are surfacing online of another eagerly awaited device: a new handheld from Research in Motion (RIM), the BlackBerry Storm. RIM hasn’t officially launched the new device yet — and it declined to comment on the leak — but the Storm is clearly a direct assault on Apple’s iPhone 3G and T-Mobile’s G1. It’s also an attempt to wow consumers with both a jazzy new design and an App Center filled with games and other add-on programs. [source]

Explosion Proof Fluorescent Lighting

As this is a technology blog, we have covered some of what you might think are the craziest, wackiest products and technologies developed. But when we talk about explosion proof fluorescent lighting, there is certainly nothing crazy about it. Explosion proof fluorescent lighting is especially needed in the mining industry, refineries and paint booths where there is constant risk to the people at work. Working in a mine for example, would entail huge risks in that the littlest glitch could claim the lives of so many. Perhaps the better question to ask would be on how we can make such technologies available to the people who need it.

One site i can recommend is Magnalight.com, a website specializing in various types of explosion proof lights including explosion proof flashlights and hazardous area lights. Their merchandise have been tested not to explode from a variety of heights so the potential of turning a glitch into a tragedy is lessened.

All the information regarding ordering, shipping, returns and privacy policies are on their site so you can be sure that getting the merchandise wont be a hassle. The prices are varied by I can say that you do get the worth of what you’re paying. If this is merchandise that interests you, please drop by Magnalight.com.

iPhone Led SmartPhone Sales in July

You don’t have to even read the news to notice: everywhere in America, teens either have an iPhone, a Razr, or a Blackberry. So who do you think is the leader of the smartphone sales? If you think it’s the iPhone, well you’re right… and wrong.

Overall the leader of smartphone sales is still Motorola’s Razr, iPhone comes in second. However in July, on the onset of the iPhone 3G’d unveiling whose price was pulled down to 170 bucks from about 250 the year before, iPhone has considerable narrowed that lead. People even went as far as to change providers (to AT&T, who is the exclusive iPhone provider) in order to purchase the said smartphone.

iDesk - Zen Themed Mac Table Gets Rid of Tangles

Take Mac to not only build you the computer, now they’re building you the desk as well. The iDesk - a zen themed desk with minimalist design and a pricetag worth $3,000. How can you price a minimalist desk so hefty? Because it got rid of the cords… and it’s cool.

The photo above is a taste of it and there’s another one from CultofMac. I dont really know where all the cords went but if it does get rid of the tangles, I guess that’s something great for PC ME! Lolz!
